FAQ

  • Day 1: Arrive in Oberstdorf
Arrive in the beautiful town of Oberstdorf, Germany and settle into the Kühberg Hotel while your guides build your bikes. Oberstdorf is located just 1.5 hours from the Munich international airport so transfers here are easy. You can also arrive a day or two earlier if you want more time to adjust to the time or have some relaxed time before starting the bike trip! Dinner at the Kühberg Hotel will be memorable, with some of the best views and local food that Oberstdorf has to offer. The hotel owners always take amazing care of us here!
  • Day 2: Oberstdorf to Lech
Starting in Oberstdorf, we will ride over 2 beautiful passes to arrive in Lech, a gorgeous valley with incredible food and mountains. We will raise a glass to celebrate our first successful day of riding! Route: 62 miles, 4,000’ of climbing
  • Day 3: Lech to Galtür
Starting with a great breakfast in Lech, we will move south and tackle the big Bielerhöhe climb today! This will bring us close to the Swiss border and ultimately bring us to the town of Galtür after a ripping descent. Route: 55 miles, 4,000’ of climbing.
  • Day 4: Galtür to Innsbruck
From Galtür, we will spin down the valley, past Ischgl, and make our way through rolling farmlands to Innsbruck for the night. Route: 80 miles, 1,000’ of climbing
  • Day 5: Innsbruck - Innsbruck
Today is our stop over and rest day. We will have an optional group ride that will depart midday for a local cruise around the Innsbruck area for those that want to continue riding. Meanwhile we will provide a walking tour of the city for those that want to soak in more of the cultural side of the trip. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you kick your feet up by the Inn River and rest up a bit before our last couple days of riding!
  • Day 6: Innsbruck to Sankt Ulrich
We will leave Innsbruck in the morning by train, gaining some free miles. We will then make our way to Kitzbuhel for lunch, and spin the rest of the miles through the valley before settling into a beautiful little town for the evening, Sankt Ulrich. Route: 80 miles, 3,500’ of climbing
  • Day 7: Sankt Ulrich to Salzburg
From Sankt Ulrich, we will make our way to Salzburg! A shorter day but nonetheless a nice cruise and we will stop for lunch at the German border before making our final approach into the city. We will see the birth place of Mozart and raise a glass to the incredible point to point that we just completed!
  • Day 8: Gute Reise/Safe Travels!
Checking out of the hotel in the morning, your trusty guides will facilitate whatever transfers you need to the airport, train station, or otherwise. It will have been a memorable trip and your legs will probably be ready for a couple days of rest! Have a safe journey home!
